Each November The Free Church of Scotland encourage Christians around the country from all denominations to unite in a National Day of Prayer for our nation and our communities. This year’s NDoP will take place on Wednesday 24th November 2021.
Our church hall will be open from 9am until 5pm on this day and we invite every Christian from all around Glasgow to drop in at anytime convenient during this window to come and pray together.
There will be a resource of prayer points available in the church on which day but which you can can also download in advance or use to guide your prayers throughout the day wherever you may be.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people and for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
1 Timothy 2:1-6 (ESV)
