Today we have our Sunday Club prizegiving as we celebrate and give thanks for the amazing kids and youth we have in our congregation. Creche available during the service.
Today we are having a lunch after the service – everyone welcome to stay!

Monday 19th June
Our youth club for 8 to 16 year olds is on tonight from 7-8.30pm. Join us for games, crafts, snacks and a Bible talk. Come along and bring your friends! Final one before the summer break!!
Tuesday 20th June
Top Tots Baby & Toddler group meets today from 10-11.30am. We’d love to welcome you and your wee one along. No need to book or pay – free of charge!
The Partick Pantry foodbank open today from 2.30-4.30pm
Wednesday 21st June
Our Wednesday midweek prayer meeting is on at 7.30pm in the church hall for a time of prayer, praise and Bible study. All are encouraged to join together for this. Available to join through Zoom on our usual church meeting ID.
Thursday 22nd June
The Partick Pantry foodbank open today from 2.30-4.30pm
Glasgow International Conversations – our meeting place for International Students and locals – is on tonight from 7.30 – 8.30pm. The final one before summer break!

We have an exciting month coming up in June at Dowanvale…
Sunday 18th after the morning service which will be a celebration of our Sunday Club and their achievements and learning over the year.
- Sunday 25th June – Communion Sunday: we welcome John Mackinnon a pastor at East Kilbride Baptist Church who is involved in developing the ministry the Word One to One bible study series
International preacher Charles Price from The Peoples Church, Toronto will be coming to Dowanvale Free Church to do two evening talks on Thursday 29th & Friday 30th June with the theme ‘Living in the Fullness of Christ.’
The services will be starting at 7.30pm. No need to register a place – just come along on the night and bring your friends! We are very much looking forward to welcoming Charles to Glasgow and we would love for you to join us for the evenings – an event not to be missed. Please spread the word!

- Accommodation wanted: Rachel Johnstone will be moving to Glasgow to study at Glasgow University and she’s looking for opportunities to rent a flat with other Christian students. If you know of anything you can get in touch with her dad John via email at johnwjohnstone@yahoo.co.uk
- International Justice Mission Glasgow are organising a prayer event at St Silas church on the 19th of June at 7pm. We will be praying for IJM’s response to the Ukrain crisis and you can pray in groups, and/or individually as you walk through prayer stations.
- Sunday Club Outing – The whole congregation are invited to gather together on Saturday 12th August at Victoria Park to enjoy a picnic time together. Save the date and more details nearer the time!
